I have lately been dropping off my car the evening before my appointment. Upon receiving my vehicle I attempted to use the automatic start. It woukd not work. As I approached the car, I noticed the hood was not shut completely. I secured it and drove home. Upon arriving home, I tried the automatic start again. It worked. So I'm wondering if someone in a rush to finish neglected to make sure it.was secured

My oil change and tire rotation usually takes about an hour and it took an hour and 40 minutes. If someone had told me there was a back up or they were running behind then I could have made arrangements to go back to work and pick up my car later. This cost me hours at work that I hadn't planned for. I understand that things happen but more communication would have been good.
