For those that can’t wait until then, there’s the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD. The 2022 “LTD” version of the Silverado 1500 is a nearly identical continuation of the previous 2021 model year, available as a stop-gap model until the fully refreshed 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is available for sale. Both trucks provide more than enough power for the tough jobs. But it’s the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTD that produces more horsepower and torque, even though its base engine is an I4, while the engine in the 2021 Silverado 1500 is a V6. That’s because the engine in the 2022 Silverado 1500 LTD is turbocharged. Here are the specs:
